pesha

pesha has an identity crisis. her mother is a gypsy and her father
was a gypsy and all of her sisters and brothers are gypsies. but
poor pesha...she doesn't want to be a gypsy. what she really wants to be
is a neo-flapper in a burlesque show. pesha spent every night for
a week sneaking and snitching beads. she stitched and stitched until
her fingers were sore trying to make the best burlesque flapper dress
that she could. now of course her mother does not approve and her
aunts give her snarly stares. pesha doesn't care, she wears it anyway
just hoping someday shell stumble across a burlesque troupe in need.

pesha is jointed at her shoulders and hips. her skirt is made from beaded trimmings combined with a stained-to-match bit of old lace.
she wears a string of iridescent pearls around her neck and glued to her shoulders for stability.
