miette

   miette is a character from the beautiful film "the city of lost children."
           you should watch it. it - and she - are unspeakably lovely.
 

             miette  was a commission from a friend, who said:
  "have you seen the city of lost children? i think id like a doll like miette."
                      so off she went to keep pesha company.

miette  is jointed at the shoulders and hips. she wears a carefully painted sweater and
a painstakingly hand sewn jumper of red felt. miette is slightly smaller than the others - she is a child afterall.
